This vast wilderness,
Wondering why
Life changes

A kaleidoscope of dreams
Were scattered on the yellow brick road...
I rushed in to capture them,
Arms out stretched.

Mama's in the kitchen
Frying chicken, golden brown,
Smothering cabbage,
just rushing around.

They loved and they cherished, or so went
Their vows
Together they shared dreams throughout the
Long hours;

The sunset's radiant smile, rain's melody.
A song sublime tenderly rendered, warming my heart.
We are love complete, 'Dancing in the moonlight! '
You handle life's challenges with strength of character.

As she fluttered by,
The words were
Like lacy snow flakes, falling from the sky.
A lovely canvas were her wings in delicate blue,

God's essence is love's image.
Jealousy weakens love's vowed promise.
Honesty gives love its power.
Always keep love's fire burning.

For your birthday I pondered what to do,
What lovely gift would be perfect for you'

Should I send you a clown to make you smile,

To dig holes to plant roses after
Weeding for an hour,
To jump with ease, in and out
Of the shower.
