O God, give me the Elixir of Life
To stay alive a century or more;
Thou free me forever from all my strife;
In divine love, let heart, mind and soul grow!

No man is perfect ev’r since birth;
For perfection, we act like clowns;
God gives us freedom much on earth.

A state of hopelessness also prevails;
When virtues are suppressed by men of vice,
The oppressed class still faces mighty gales.

Oh, stop the war, please!
The world needs only peace;
’Tis time to come back boys!
This war will not conclude;

We all must leave; we all must go;
Some day, some way and leave this shore;
The mighty and the weak must bow
To death that comes to every door!

An ant had found some sugar-cubes,
And ran across to feed;
It ate them all and became fat;
A spider glimpsed the ant!

Christ was born;
Christ had died;
Christ had risen;
Christ will come again!

Not one’s perfect in this earthly domain;
Perfection’s something, we tend to attain;
Mistakes and blunders in life, we may do;
Repent for our sins, someday, we ought to.
