Life On Earth Poem by Dr John Celes

Our life is full of ups and downs;
No man is perfect ev’r since birth;
For perfection, we act like clowns;
God gives us freedom much on earth.

To waste our time or use it well
Is left to every one of us;
With God as Guide, who in us dwells,
Ev’n failures turn into success.

But try, we must our very best;
The Healer- Time, will then decide;
There’s much to do, before we rest;
In God, we must always abide.

Luck or pluck isn’t truly enough;
We ought to toil until the end;
With time, things turn to be less tough,
And God pays us rich dividend.

So, let the past not worry us;
We live for just the time present;
About the future, let’s not fuss;
To be ‘a testing ground’- world’s meant!
