Eyewitness of nature’s loom
When lilacs with long
Locks of blooms
Illumine my kitchen counter
...
When the world
Ices over you
And stifles your voice
The walls of servitude is so thick
...
Speak in the fullness of your heart
And the silent listens to you
Speak in the depth of your heart
And your words ring true
...
I watch the night's endless sky
Taste beauty in each sunrise
There's is so much to grasp
And just like those northern lights
...
At a gut level
We want to see how good we are
How fast we are
We want to compete
...
It like I have been riding
That run away train
Rounding the uphill curve
Starting to slow down
...
Cast you line on the water
Focus on the bober
Let'em take it under
Take the time to wonder
...
Let your light shine tonight
In this time and space you are what is
Share your light don't be uptight
...
One man can capture a moment
With crayons
One man can capture a moment
With a photo
...
I have a drive to write
And I drive to write
Creative writing
Feeds from images
...
Forgive is of black dirty
Letting it go
Dropping what we carry
Letting it decay
...
I have seen millions flock
Moved with an internal time clock
Canadian fields white and dark poke-a-dots
Geese meet and glean in exact annual spots
...
Each life needs
It’s own quiet place
Each life needs
To savor joy’s taste
...
Spring Lilacs
Eyewitness of nature’s loom
When lilacs with long
Locks of blooms
Illumine my kitchen counter
Before the vase
Gathers them…
Scenting, banqueting
Crafting and dining
A living room
Their bright aroma
Shrieks out ascent of May
Accented by green leaves
Where birds nest - engulfed in perfume;
Sun, and color-woven
In lilacs’ purple costume
Springing through
The threaded tapestry
Of natures loom
