I wonder for the last time if it'll ever sink in
as I take the last drop of gin
there goes my baby
walking off stage
I'm all alone
but I'll be sitting on a throne

You were never away
hands where always made to play
you gave me light
a song took flight in your arms
didn't I ever tell you?
you were all I need
I wouldn't be singing if you didn't have the key

Flowers bloom
on the windowsill
my darlings now outside my womb
California air is healing me
and I can clearly see
my edges are smoothing over once again
