Forgotten

Suddenly I remembered that I had forgotten something,
Searching through my string of thoughts,
where one leads to another and so on,
I come to where I had thought of the forgotten subject and still cant,
remember it,
is it a name?
a place?
or a thing?
what could it possibly be?
Changing my mind deciding to think of other things,
After forgetting that I once was trying to remember something,
I remember the forgotten subject.
And pause to wonder what it was for.
