Nails hurt to wrists

Dissolve on my tongue
Suck, lick and swallow

Concrete cracking
Gods are laughing
At the unsuspecting people down below
Clouds are swirling
...

Tape, Staples and glue
I will break my heart for you
I'll patch it up and dust it off
And carry on up the hill
...

Amongst the weeds there is a flower
In the still, dark, stagnant, waters.

Propelled by feet, our hearts tread above the water

Finding sleep improbably, I toss
Waiting for the inevitable, I turn
As sleep beckons me closer to you,
thoughts start to percolate
