Skate Poem by empty shell

Skate

I am your playground
Dive into my eyes
Splish, splash and laugh
Bounce on my tongue
Sing songs to my ears
Swing through my heart
Climb all over me
I am your playground
But be light on your feet
As you skate through my brain
Blades do leave scars
The stops and turns hurt
But don't stop
If it means leaving…don't stop
Your figure-8 skating
Has changed me forever
Although it has left scratches and dents
I am still smiling
As you are still gliding
I am your playground
The harder you play
The more I feel loved
