Scream

i know you hear me
you just don't care
blind to the pain rooted in the back of my eyes
i cant believe what i am seeing
i loved you
molded you my very hands to be a god
and yet i find you now a withering pile of dust
lain forlorn on the side of the road
kick and spit on
i love you
still, but love is not respect.
we are no longer equals
somewhere back you chose to explore the bushes off the path
and have yet to make your way back
i can hear you
silence speaks the volumes we cannot form
a tangled mess of wire
we could spend hours searching for the plug
only to find that we have no outlet.
your shield has battered thin
lay it down, show me what you've been hiding
and i promise that i will take the cheapest shot i can muster
and watch you crumple,
like a child kicking his puppy.
there is no reason for indiscretion
speak your mind
charge this room with you emotion,
let the walls glow red.
i know you can hear me.
let me free.
