heart, what are you searching for?
you look to the hills and find no satisfaction.
you look down to the valley and it still does not suffice.
your eyes lust for things that are futile.
heart, you touch things that cause damage.
heart, you walk with those that lead you astray.
heart, your find pleasure for a brief moment.
you embrace your friends joy and peace, but soon they escape your grasp.
heart you run and run to stand still.
heart is this life a horrible comedy?
heart, what will fill the vacuum?
would riches, would pleasure, would sex, would this world? ?
