I am waiting to be called and the sooner the better
The tempestuous waves of my nightly host dismember my already frayed existence.
Staring at the dancing figures on the walls remind me of a time too polluted to indulge,
The quiet fold that encompasses my being torments every movement without fail
The days are filled with treacherous endeavors with decaying morsels blinding my view,
Walking without a mission has armed me with the strength to rise above the delicate ashes.
Memory is my only ally as I begin the process of establishing my indelible mantle
It will not be much longer now.
The essence of treachery is palpable and resonates with feverish recognition
It’s never enough when it comes to the scantily clad figure that erupts the evening,
Juices dipped in mind-numbing fervor anchors my titillating membranes,
For a moment in time the collapse that initiated the alarm recoils without judgment,
I am a whole again.
But the pieces collide and the absurdity of my presence once again echoes
The fabrics of my muscles were once doused with systematic joy,
The world welcomed my birth with initial doubt but promised to dotingly reconcile,
But the years were heavy and without warning or preparation the threads were loosened.
What remains is a template burnt beyond recognition with a permanent scowl,
It is time to take notice and end the misery
But the dutiful recordings must be sprayed to serve as witness.

Hi, Ms. Ezinne Ukoha. How are you? I was wondering if I could see all your old pictures that you took last year, again and more than once.
