I'm tired i'm old i feel defeated

On cold winter nights, on the busy highways,
they roam across the roads,
yearning for attention,
holding their hearts in their hands,

I just woke up but still feel drowsy,
My neck is flexed, head aches,
Think I overslept, maybe.
And what's wrong with my backbone?

Now is the time to listen
Quiet down, hear me now
Listen to this silence
What does it say?

Have you been in a situation?
When the time couldn't pass any slower,
When the earth stood still,
But your world couldn't stop crumbling,

I wonder after all these years,
