In the World do become by many a widely known and respected name
Yet many of their sort not compassionate or kind
And to the desire for more money are quite readily inclined

Your race or nationality or your breeding line
Of your worth as a person you should not define
But sadly in human kind this is not the case
There can be inequality in circumstance of birth and nationality and race
...

You treat your dog well and she or he for life will remain your friend
Since unlike humans dogs do not know how to pretend
Your dog does love you for the person you are
Not for the size of your bank account your home or your car
...

Wherever the aspirational does meet
For attention with each other they do compete
In their quest to be the wealthiest, best loved and most famous in the town
Their dreams even transcend the local renown
...

The Reaper of lives the one who does not spare
The lives of any celebrity and any billionaire
Isthe true egalitarian in truth one can say
From the one who wields the scythe of death nowhere to hide away
...

I have never envied those of wealth and fame
And praise and criticism I treat as the same
I do not have life achievements of for to brag
Though for a fair go for all people I do wave the flag
...

If to your higher self you wish to live true
Give credit to everyone that credit to is due
And in your words never do drag others down
Even people that you do not like in the town
...

Home is where you live as some does say
And not where you once lived in distance far away
And though one's truth to others seldom does apply
The truth in the saying seems hard to deny
...

So lucky are those who can laugh every day
That they help to spread happiness seems true to say
Since laughter it is such a beautiful sound
They carry joy with them and share it around
...

River Allow from the Mullagheirk Mountains along the Cork Limerick border winds it's way
Near Kanturk it joins River Dalua babbling onwards night and day
At Ballymaquirk it enters the Blackwater to increase the big river's flow
The true age of River Allow anybody would not know
