The cry's of the poor rise up from the sea of oppression
And still the waves grow higher
The ship sails relentlessly on into the golden horizon
And now the sea is on fire
...

Lord have you seen my tears?
Can't you see I'm drowning in my fears?
I try to run but there's no where left to hide
I fall to my knees because I'm dying here inside
...

I want to be so lost in you
And have my heart be pure and true
That when they come and look for me
It's Christ alone that they shall see
...

To be chained in Christ
Is to be free indeed
Free to die and free to bleed
Free to walk the pilgrim way
...

Let the skies fall down
Let them fall before your crown
Let the seas rise up
They could never fill your cup
...

I believe the cross is empty
Because He dwells in me
No longer bound and chained by death
Because He set me free
...

Each step before me Lord
I pray that you would takn
That I would walk in the shadow of thee
Ev'n for thine own name's sake
...

Who takes care of the grass of the field?
You do Lord we must simply yield
Who takes care of the birds of the sky?
You do Lord for you dwell on high
...

Fill me up and fill my cup
Fill every part of me
That I would be intimately connected
To the precious olive tree
...

Who needs a candle
When the sun rises in my heart?
For the light of Christ consumes all else
And it quenches every fiery dart
