I will make a poem for you
but not to describe
how magnificent you are
your smile as beautiful as a rose,
your soft red lips
how charming those pair of eyes.

I will make a poem for you
but not to write how brave you are,
how you endure every hit
that the fascists policemen at Mendiola gives.

how tough you are
that even the heat of the scorching sun
or the heavy pouring rain
would not be the reason for you
to give up the fight
for freedom and oppresed people.
