Where I constantly find myself in a dry desert,
when merciless the sun shines down in the wilderness,
it is You that go out to find me, a lost human being,
in Your eyes I always remain the lost child

From the earliest breaking of dawn,
the doves, sparrows and weavers were on the lawn,
they pecked chirped, twittered and cooed
as if had great delight in this morn

In Russia many shopping centres
are without shops,
where the Western businesses had withdrawn,
after their governments started sanctions.

It's as if I yearn for something that is not available,
where for decades I have been missing you,
where I do my best to follow God,
all around me can still see the works from His hands
