The Fearless

Soaring higher than Icarus with my hands high
thrown caution to the wind, averted my mind's eye
seeking to resurrect dreams as plans die
defining what elevate means in grand style

Foolishly bold, so nothing can hold us
stolen from the very gods who claimed to mould us
seeking answers to the questions you fear to ask
stretch forth my arms to the face of those who wear a mask

Infinite potentials, our ideas are insane
we've dreamt to perfection, Morpheus should be ashamed
so when we touch the world it'll never be the same
I only fear that we'll never be afraid
