Waiting for the phone to ring so I can hear your voice,
Wanting to feel my heart skip a beat as you smile at me,
Hoping you'll come soon,
Begging that you come hold me tight.
...

As the sun fell darkness corrupted the small town,
Doors became locked secrets became stolen,
The light disappeared forever,
Questions were asked answers were never told.
...

Thump Thump Thump,
I can hear the sound of their footsteps pounding against the floor.
Bam Bam,
They pound against the door wanting me to open it so they can kill me too.

A Poem For Him

Waiting for the phone to ring so I can hear your voice,
Wanting to feel my heart skip a beat as you smile at me,
Hoping you'll come soon,
Begging that you come hold me tight.

Listening at the door for your heavy footsteps,
Feeling my hope die,
Seeing that you aren't coming tonight,
Crying because I know your never coming here again.

Why did you leave me here alone,
Where are you now,
Why'd you have to die on me,
Can't you see my tears now.

I miss you! ! !
