An ocean between us
waves of despair
I think of the time wasted
without you

Words flow
Slowly over a jagged canvas
with pain
tugging and twisting

A gentle hum,
Lost in the clock,
things, circled up and strewn about,
taking their time.

The space for words to move
is unbearable. Give
it time and it may do.
Harsh sounds, quiet songs
...

I thought that I knew all this before we started,
But we chose this for us anyway.
It was only a matter of time ‘til you parted,
And I still want you back here today.

Sad tree, why are you still holding on?
The cold has come in, the bees have gone.
Gone is the time of colors and green.
Gone are the feelings of being a queen.
