Love's Revenge

We started off so right,
I would dream of you each night,
You would announce your love to me,
I always was in love with thee.

I questioned whether it was the same for you,
As i never knew if you truly do,
These thoughts would plague my head,
That's why i should be dead.

As time went on the story drove,
Me to a side what you would loath,
If i knew i would have grown,
Love is a killer what wasn't known.

I drove you to the brink of insanity,
I changed you for the worse of our humanity,
I said to dropp all emotion,
To prove your loves devotion.

I was wrong in what i did,
Little did i know i was only a kid,
My love for you was always true,
So why do i feel so blue?

We carried on forever more,
I changed more than ever before,
I lost site of who i was,
No one knew why that's because...

You forced me to change for my fear,
Of losing someone ever so dear,
I said i only changed for awhile,
I led myself into denial...

You got your revenge on me,
Driving me to insanity,
You have me under your control,
In this story of a love that stole.
