Your arms around my waist,
the longing look in your eyes,
the rush of your body next to mine.
...

What am I supposed to do?
I mean, c'mon!
I can't control how I feel,
how my heart feels.

The Opportunist

Your arms around my waist,
the longing look in your eyes,
the rush of your body next to mine.

We talked of our lives,
and where we would be,
once we were gone and away from here.

You were in my dreams,
and I assumed I in yours.
I thought this was too perfect,
too good for words.

Then the summer came,
and tore us apart.
You say we weren't meant to be,
and it broke my poor heart.

I didn't know how to feel,
I didn't know what to say.
Now all you are to me,
is a memory.
