It was fun for a little while.
Exciting at times,
But not anymore.
I'm crossing the river at the shallows

All that I've said is true.
Each with stories of their own.
And even stories within stories
That each have a point,

Another day gone
And what have I to show?
Did I stay awhile with a friend
And share the things we know?

He is not there.
Look away and go on.
Hesitate not
To look again

Teach me.
Teach me how to make this work.
Or teach me how to let this go.
