As The Year Goes By

It started off so slow
Only aiming the low
What went wrong?
Is this final song?

With every-day
the love in may
Just a little dream
Has now made me scream

Oh I remember
How it passed in September.
The days became cold
And my tears so bold

The winter came
Oh I remember thy name
and how I hold your hand
Now I draw the line in the sand.

Now its April like last year
Still I look out and seer.
When I look into your eyes
I feel like rolling the dice.
