The Minstrel And The Muse

More conceptual than fiscal
There sings a happy minstrel
who's songs of love and virtue show the heavens to the eye

As the minstrel sings his song
your obliged to sing along
without a muse the songs will surely hide

When new songs are written
the minstrel sings as smitten
the rhythm is all wrong and the songs they never rhyme

The songs become much louder
as reason starts to flounder
the songs the same as always but truth is hidden in the lines

In back a muse is queuing
the minstrel does his tuning
Songs of love and virtue show the heavens to the eye
