La Danse Dans Les Fleurs

once upon a time, in my sweet backyard,
there were rows and rows of flowers.
i used to play in the flowers as a child,
in my sundress that fluttered like a butterfly.

spinny, spinny, spinny spin.

i was a flower zephyr.
i suckled the sweet sweet mole asses from the
huge firm trees in my back yard
and fondly i came again.

but then,
the logging company behind my house
set my neighborhood on fire
and the flowers burned like
embers in fire during the winter.

and i cried, i cried, oh i cried like
the waterfall that puts out the flames of desire and lust.
and maple syrup.

~fade to black~ (black...black...black...it's an echo, you see.)
