The fresh smell of palm trees rushes into my nose
Their branches swaying in the warm breeze
Water swirling around me
As I dive down to save a life
...
Pain Isnt Forever
The fresh smell of palm trees rushes into my nose
Their branches swaying in the warm breeze
Water swirling around me
As I dive down to save a life
Of a lifeless toy
Its hard plastic body hit my hand as I picked it up
I started for the surface
Before an extreme pain filled my left leg
My knee had been sliced,
By a blue ceramic tile
Blood as red as cherries poured out
I screamed, as I couldn’t take the pain anymore
My parents cradled me to give me a treat
As I took a bite of the cold, creamy ice cream
My pain disappeared
