Michael James Ajani Poems

Many came and many has gone
Many died, many were born
Death why do you have to kill?
We're right here only to chill.
...

Memorable days, pleasing moments
Pets, the kids having their best moments at the field enjoying the nature.
Gathering in the garden, shining green grass
Happy faces with the smile, dine-wine, pizzas whiskey fine, what a culture!
...

I thought you gat my back like I do
Blood on my shoes all for you.
in the street we keep it cool,
and with you much I thought I was good.
...

Isaja, isaja, na ham, na ham, don't point it's not me, case closed.
Government officials, Asiwaju in Chatham, journalist outside meeting held, door closed.
Where's the chance? Renewed rope, drowning hope, are we cursed?
I was kidding to have said we're winning straight until comes subsidy naira devalued, dollar rised.
...

I knew you were pained, of sad memories that left scars,
Life do sucks and deep inside sometimes hurt, is it only on earth? I don't know if does exist in Mars.
A cake of soap, wedding ring, gold filling merry and party,
Flesh, bone, there is nothing there made you left at thirty.
...

Sometimes I wanted to cry but tears would not come, it won't just.
Is it of rejection, is it betrayal I would say? Oh! I'm in pains this is unjust.
For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye drop down water, oh! This worst.
What has been my offense for this cup to have fell on me? This is hardened burdened how can I pay that it cost?

Death Rolls

Many came and many has gone
Many died, many were born
Death why do you have to kill?
We're right here only to chill.

Once I was a son.
Now a Father John
I was happy then you came
You made me lame, and put myself to blame.

I was walking then I run.
Your eyes so big like the sun 🌞
I know it will be my turn,
When I will go and no return.
