Reagan Days Fight Against Neuroblastoma

For my little Reagan

Hearing reagan has cancer,
completely riped us apart.
Pain, torture and unfairness
Was all we seen at the start.
Why our girl we asked ourself
What has she ever done,
Shes a innocent little princsss
Who should be happy and having fun.

As she starts her treatment and side effects,
Loosing her eyelashes, eyebrows and hair,
Our world changes infront of us,
And shows life is so unfair.
Scans show treatments working,
This changes our broken hearts,
Could she beat this we ask our self,
Wich we never once thought at the start.

Beside her bed after surgery,
Hiding emotions and upset,
The pain in her eyes as she looks at me
Is a vision ill never forget
' please daddy, please help me'
Was what her eyes were trying to say
'It's gonna to be OK princess'
Daddy will make it all go away

these children here are incredible
Not bothered about being bold
Night after night in hospitals,
Is the life they all now hold.
Taking there daily medicines,
Not phasing them one bit,
They somehow give us the strength we need
And will never let us quit

The pride i feel inside me,
Seing them smile and on the mend,
There Oblivious to how serious it is,
Happily playing with new friends
We should never have to hear about this
Not here, not now, not ever,
But once you have to witness this,
It Will change ur life forever
