The spring of inspiration,
Which I thought had dried up,
Flows again.

Your voice is a drug, to me-
Lifting me higher than human existence;
Causing me to forget all else;
And addicting me,

I am your fear.
-I grip you in the night.
-I hold you when you are alone.
You may know of me,

scream at me.
vent your stupid
insecurities.
i dare you, fool.

I know you- every breath
I have worshipped.
Every thought
I have sought to know.

voices, high-pitched,
race through the mind,
colors dancing, wheeling,
lights spinning, lost control.
...

swallow me whole,
plunge me into your icy
emptiness.
i will fall forever,

I thought I would miss
The rows and rows of naked trees,
Bare, dead but alive.
I thought that Florida

I have come,
That I might put to rest
All misconceptions you hold
Of who I am.

and as easy as that, i am alone again;
i never tried to be,
because when you were there, i was happy, as i never have been.
