Jasmine Smith Poems

As you begin to ignore me,
I drown in my tears,
Will you ever see sense,
Or listen with your ears?
...

He sat,
The fire spat.
His hands hovered over the heat.
A warmth fulfilled the room.
...

I weep,
My heart aches over you,
I try to sleep,
Thinking of both us two.
...

This is the first,
It wont be the last,
As we try not to remember,
Our hiddeous past.

Am I Invisible?

As you begin to ignore me,
I drown in my tears,
Will you ever see sense,
Or listen with your ears?

Their seems to be a wall between us,
I dont remeber being close?
Being that much time,
Its you im missing the most.

Its hard to see sense,
In the dilemma that your in,
But dont take it out on me,
Im still your kid.

Im turning 16 next year,
Yeah i dont act my age.
But seems trying to take some advice,
Is like finding that loose page.

Im reading you like an interesting book,
Every page, is a new story.
If you just look back,
To how you used to be,
Its the better,
The nicer,
The stress free,
New me.

So now ive said it,
A secret ive kept in for years,
But you need to see how i feel,
As im the only one picking up the dirt.

This is not my problem,
But hopefully youlle recognize,
That even though this is breaking my heart,
You will soon start to realize.
