Like any poem worth writing
This too is about a girl
And like any story worth telling
Has its own twist and twirl
...
Our Immortal Song
Like any poem worth writing
This too is about a girl
And like any story worth telling
Has its own twist and twirl
Never did life seem so small
When ages condensed into figments
Like a motley painting on the wall
Few patches only filed with all the pigments
Never did less mean so much more
Than those meetings which were few
Leaving a life time of stories in store
Even as time by us flew
Like a wandering wish she came
Illuminating my dull existence with a dream
Reality called life seemed so lame
When that fantasy became my realm
only a second if i could spend
When the world ceases to exist
No worries to mend
Just the two of us buried deep into the mist
So cold yet so warm
Even the cactus loose their thorn
And turn into a butterfly swarm
As the dream died for reality to be born
So when i die, i would know
I lived only a second long
In those scares memories that glow
Wreathed to form our immortal song
