That moment when an idea for a poem springs to mind,
And everything else gets left behind.
Must get this down on paper!
Or i may surely forget it later!

If I'd never met you,
Then I would not miss you,
If I'd never held you,
Then I would not have kissed you.

Absence certainly makes the heart grow fonder,
That's for sure,
The more I miss you,
The more I love you,

Together in an endless dream,
would be my ideal time to spend,
each moment far away from life,
with you my one true precious friend.

These words that i write,
are the words from my heart.
Those memories within me,
that never shall part.

There is a place i long to go,
Where it doesn't rain and time goes slow,
A place of sunshine everyday,
A place filled with love come what may,

Over valleys and mountains
Through green hills and vales
My love for my hometown,
Lies right here in Wales.

It was a time back then,
When I hoped for the best,
Staying strong was the only way,
I was facing a difficult test.

A walk in the sand
Seagulls fly high overhead
The wind in my hair.

You walk somewhere in the shadows,
You're with me in dreams at night,
You float in the air like a leaf on a breeze,
I'm holding your memory tight.
