Drown in their own tears.
I've seen the holiest of all men,
In flames, from their own deceitful sins.

Everyday I spent with you,
Every night I slept with you,
Every morning I awoke next to you,
Every precious moment we lived together..

There was such a time,
When I saw the true world,
Through some others own
Dilated…. Eyes,

The Beating
It hurts,
Being thrown up against the hardest brick wall,
Warm Blood being spit out of the mouth,
Yelling “Stop”, gasping for more word,
Of your voice..
Slammed onto the cold ground,
A right connects to your head,
Seeing stars, Seeing Blackness, then
Seeing the one who was called out
By his friends.
No strength, no ability to get up
And fight…
“You got him good”
Fires off in your head while still trying
to reach consciousness.
The cold air breezes through your hair
As you hold your head up high to meet
A Nike Logo implanted into your brain forever..
Pounding chest, beating heart, sweat, warm sweat
Falling down your battered face.
Eyes open to what looks like white fireworks.
They open wide, and see the crowd disperse.
Leaving you there, to cry and cope with,
Life’s Most Challenging moment.
Now, Think as if… That Was Your Child….
