Remember Me

Remember me this day
The day I walked in the gardens feeling so dismayed,
My brothers were with me, but I wanted to see your face,
The soldiers came, they took me away,
I knew why, I wasn’t afraid,
They whipped me and cut me and dressed me in rags,
Please Father forgive them, I already have,
You taught me to do that, forgive and to love,
When I was on the Cross,
You hugged me and loved me from heaven above.

Remember me,
When you are in pain and feel nothing is left,
Or when you’re happy and you feel so Blessed,
Lift your head to Heaven, seek my touch,
Ask me for Blessings, I do love you so much,
I died for you, I love you, don’t be afraid,
I am with you now, now and always.

Remember me,
When the wind blows gently upon your face,
And you look around and see such grace,
The aroma of scents from my Father flowers,
I smelled them, touched them, in my final hours,
My brothers could not see it, they couldn’t see what I could,
I knew my time was near,
To rise to heaven above.

Remember me,
When you call upon my name,
I died for you, I love you, please just pray,
Pray to me now, ask me in your prayer,
“Please Lord forgive me, take hold of me today”
I will come to you, shield you, let you know I’m near,
Please don’t worry, please don’t fear,
Remember I died for you and I would die again,
To have you near me child,
Is my love that will never end.
