Jeremy Rodgers Poems
She said, 'Won't you love me? ' I said, 'Give me a chance.' She said, 'Love me even more.' I said, 'Then take my hand.'
Love is sign language, it's not what you say, or what you give, it's how you act
A tea kettle and a bowl of soup, we'll burn forever if we fall down with the pope
Yellow feathers, a white dove on the telephone line.
K.J.V, obviously compare them and you'll see. J.T.C.'s 'Let's Weigh the Evidence' makes it evident
Dancing demons on the pulpits playing rock-n-roll, dancing demons or Jesuits
What Are We Doing?
What are we doing, wasting our life? or is it even our life to waste? These are the battlegrounds, my friends or are you even my friends?
He Knows The Hearts Of People
He knew what was in them He knew they loved sin His own chosen burned babies to the Devil
Javalinas, wild boars in the shadows by the door
In back-alley street where every alley meets in every corner of the world everybody's popping pills.
Decked in purple and scarlet the Catholic church is a harlot for all the people they've hurt
Castle Of Greed
Kings sitting on top thrones of ivory sheep with chunks of flesh missing wool piled high in forgotten storerooms overcome with greed but more by controlling them
Like Sister Charlotte
She was starving, she was dying stuck inside a nunnery they wouldn't allow her
Darkness falls down like a net smothering those who've lost their breath taking away their fading time covering up their daylight

She said, 'Won't you love me? '
I said, 'Give me a chance.'
She said, 'Love me even more.'
I said, 'Then take my hand.'
She took my hand and held it
and let it slip away.
She said, 'I don't think I'll survive tomorrow,
I need you today.'
I said, 'Forever can be so beautiful.'
And she looked away.
'Forever can feel so alone, ' I heard her softly say.
'I'll never leave you alone, ' I whispered in her ear.
'I'm already all alone, ' She brushed away a tear.
And before I had the chance to stop her,
she ran into the night.
