New Thinking, Everything's Anew

She's got her eyes glued, the blind can sense her stare

It's a long way from the truth, but she knows its there.

Something on her mind has her thinking in new ways

A world where perfection and death together lays

In perfect harmony, it's the way she feels

About life, between alternate and real.

She believes one thing, sees the next

Hears about the first part, figures out the rest.

There may be a blank stare in her eyes but I can see more.

Somewhere its full of emotions in her soul.

She won't let them out something's on her mind

She reels backwards after she falls behind.

She's calling for help, no one can hear

Her shriveled heart layered with ice so shear

She smooths on her hatred, bloodrage in her pupils

Hiding the truth from the hopeless people

But I know, her soul wreaks of usage

new thinking no longer feeling useless.

She's not alone, theres ones who can see past her blank despair

And see the scared little girl that was once there

And we'll hold hands and watch the world burn

It's new thinking that her aching heart yearns

The pieces of the puzzle pulls together, it's the future beholding

Destruction of herself or the world is shaping and molding

Into the cracks her emotions rot away

Until the world sheds, burns and decays

It's not what she wants, it's her desire

She fears the world, but not the fire.

A simple wicked gleam that shines off a strangers teeth

She already knows who they are before they even meet

One simple kiss and the lust rages through her veins

Not love she feels, just the perfect kind of pain

I haven't looked into her eyes, and I know whats there

Hatred now, but then, she was scared
