Jessica Vasilyeva Poems

The breeze, oh so fresh
Like breathing in a new life
So perfect and awestruck
Beautiful prairies and sight
...

You pinky promise?
I pinky promise.
And you don't want to break it?
I wouldn't dare.

What happened?
I’m not myself
What’s wrong?
Something bad
...

I gave you everything.
My secrets, life, and love
You gave me a story
Full of fantasies and romance
...

I wish to be a little girl who laughs and squeals when she sees a butterfly.
I want to be able to forgive and forget easily
And tattle-tale on the people who make me sad.
I want to cry on my mommy’s shoulder
...

You live inside my mind.
Everywhere I go, you’re the one I find.
I see your precious face
And together we embrace.

Country

The breeze, oh so fresh
Like breathing in a new life
So perfect and awestruck
Beautiful prairies and sight
Green never hides her beauty
Blue skies aren’t covered with white fluffy clouds
River just goes on with its rich sound
Fall has come upon us with a sunset
So beautiful, her eyes filled with tears
Tall grass is ready for cut
Their tips glow in the lion colored sun
A straw hat lies in the middle of a hay stack
With a horse nickering from far
Air so fresh, feels like she’s flying
Inside so clean she feels almost glorious
Strength soars back into her
Hair so brunette with the sunlight rays
Perfect curls in her country look
Grabs her straw hat and runs to freedom
Her dream, Country.
