Of late in the early morn,
Have you had a stroll in the garden
Created by our Master above?
He so patiently painted each pedal of the flowers

The moon smiled looking down upon the earth,
Why are you making the stars weep? Forever may there be peace, recreating a new birth;

Our Masters Garden

Of late in the early morn,
Have you had a stroll in the garden
Created by our Master above?
He so patiently painted each pedal of the flowers
With all of his love.
The Heavenly fragrance drawing the bees, butterflies
And the humming birds to,
If you have not taken a stroll, try for once
In the early morning dew.
The Lonely Beggar He did not need shoes, as he had no feet
He smiled at each person as he sat on the corner
Down town Ft. Worth Street.
A cup in one hand and pencils in the other
He was alone in this world
As he had no sister or brother.
He sat there from early dawn
Until the sun began to fall;
Hoping someone would heed to his urgent call.
No nice warm bed or a good home cooked meal
He was trying hard for a morsel,
As his mother taught him to never steal.
At the end of the day, a few coins in his cup
Gave him courage to never give up.

Got the pleasure of meeting this 90 year old woman. She was amazing! she recited poems to me and some other nurses as if she had written them yesterday! She was a pleasent woman and very friendly. She had an obvious love for poetry that was contagious
