Night forbear; alas, our Praise,

Set to grow on these blest days,
Faint and dull requires more scope.

Rejoyce chast Queen of Angels, and apply
All those blest Quires to sing this Victory:
He that was born of Thee, and dy'd for us,

Wake now, my Soul, and humbly hear
What thy mild Lord commands:
Each word of his wil charm thine ear,
Each word wil guide thy hands.
