John Underwood Poems

I sit here at this desk,
Trying to think of nothing at all,
Hoping for the time to pass my mind,
In a race to the end,
...

Here I sit
I'm falling through my life
Days, Weeks, Months
Even years
...

Please don't face me, like I face you
Stand tall and lift your chin with pride
You are amazing
Don't fail me, don't fail yourself
...

It was a moment for me
Like an explosion of refreshness
Clearing my mind and state of thought
Today I seek nothing
...

Though many years have past
The sound of rain drops, seemingly fluttering
Cracking their liquid shells upon
The red and rusted metal terrain
...

I'm high in the sky
Clouds underneath my feet
For I'm standing above mans fist
With no plans to retreat
...

The Best Poem Of John Underwood

I Wont Think The Same Again.

I sit here at this desk,
Trying to think of nothing at all,
Hoping for the time to pass my mind,
In a race to the end,
But my mind is far ahead.
I wont think the same again.

I saw beauty turn to ash,
As it rained over my world.
I felt love turn to scorn,
Where are you..?
I don't care, I love you.
I wont think the same again.

Because,
I know your perfect.
A few flaws wont change that...
You make me perfect,
You make me forget my flaws.
Let me think the same again.
