Jon Treloar Poems
Once more into the Fray... Into the last good fight I'll ever know. Live and Die on this day... Live and die on this day...
It's a cold harsh world my friend red in tooth and claw Ready to remind you, yet again Each time you step from your door
My girl keeps me happy Feeling shiny and new Lifting me up When I'm feeling blue
Forever spinning, Always turning Dragged along in time Falling inwards, Flying Outwards A balance on a knife
Looking for reason in these troubled times Overwhelmed and beaten down with lies No matter where you turn, you can never quite see The truth anymore, just uncertainty
The pain was there For everyone to see Written on my heart As it was showing on my sleeve
Glimmer of Blue A Flash of Silver Something approaches that I dread
How bored I can become at certain moments of the day A monotonous routine That's grey without play
Galaxy Song by Monty Python
Whenever life gets you down, Mrs.Brown And things seem hard or tough And people are stupid, obnoxious or daft And you feel that you've had quite enough
Happy birthday Jo
Happy birthday, my gorgeous girl The one I love best in this world I miss your arms around my neck I think of you every chance I get
