Broken Heart

I thought we had something special
When you said you loved me i was the happiest I've ever been
You said you would always love me and never leave me
Why did you lie to me? Why did you do this to me?
You broke me and stepped on my heart like i meant nothing
All i did was forgive and forgive yet you still took advantage
i had already lost someone close, then i lost you
I want to be positive but you're the only person I've ever loved and i miss you
No one's ever said they loved me before and the worst thing is i believed you
They say love is touching souls, well you touched mine but then you played with it
I put my trust in you and opened myself up to you and took the risk
I've never felt pain like this ever and it makes me scared to ever love again
Why do i still love you, why are you stuck in my head?
I tell people i will never take you back again, but the sad fact is i would take you back in a second
Does that make me weak? Or does that show how much i still love you?
