When I dream of waking up next to you every morning,
Of us sauntering and gazing at the dew-drops
Dripping from the orchids´ clusters,

The sun rose up happy and warm,
flooding the meadows with its gilded veil.
I saw her walking down a trail,
gracefully beneath the flushing rays.
...

You are engraved on my mind
From the moment I saw your smile.
A smile able to brighten the darkest night,
Like fireflies light up the prairie´s sky.
...

There's nothing in my life to look backward to with pride,
I screwed up every relationship I've ever been in.
I looked down right into the abyss
and saw Hades staring back at me.
...

Do the eyes scold melancholy for every tear they drop
Or does apathy blame curiosity for searching in all corners for love?
Does indifference quarrel enthusiasm for the passion it brings
Or the mouth feud with the desire for the lips that were kissed?
...

I feel the suffocating air in this house.
All that's left is a wardrobe filled with doubts,
A love´s mortgage note of late payments,
And a vanity case full of resentments.

Traveler, your footprints
are the only road, nothing else.
