In the beginning, love is so sweet,
Cooing like turtledoves hour after hour.
But love sometimes, is elusive and fleet,
And like a lemon the taste is sour.

Little garter snake, asleep in the rue,
Lost in your dreams so sweet.
one often wonders at how you do,
To cypher your thoughts would be quite a feat.
