The selfish side of me
That whispers suicidally:
End this hollow melancholy
Burns away
...

My face red and my feet brown
Can’t get me out of bed today
My week - cycle of trivia and
All I think of is the tomorrow
...

Little black boat, in the lagoon
Grey, green, or blue
Placid and beautiful
...

A few days ago I tried to sink an iceberg,
But instead, I almost sank,
Calmly and sadly, in my thoughts
Deep as the sea itself.

Catharsis Of Self And Selfishness

The selfish side of me
That whispers suicidally:
End this hollow melancholy
Burns away
When you’re with me.

It’s not your voice
Or kiss
That I miss most
It’s the way you make me,
My soul?
Feel whole,
Less of a ghost.

When I feel despair
At this world, beyond repair
I recall you in my arms
And forget to care
That noone is beyond all harms
