Kaushik Deori Poems
I walk, tackling all my apprehensions, Crossing all my limitations, Towards the no man’s land Searching for ‘that’ magic wand.
The rendezvous was discreet, subtle, I looked at myself to check if I was ready, Her infectious smile chucked me to the puddle And I got drenched already!

I walk, tackling all my apprehensions,
Crossing all my limitations,
Towards the no man’s land
Searching for ‘that’ magic wand.
A sense of déjà vu crawls underneath,
Galvanizing all my transient breath,
With a hope for a better tomorrow,
I walk, though my chances are narrow.
I can hear some noises on the other side,
As cheerful as a never halting tide,
Need to reach before I hear my fate talk
With a smile on my face I walk, I walk, I walk…..
