I stare at hope filled faces
Gorging at words to fill their skull
Line after line, and page after page
Hoping silently to succeed
...
A product of the doubtful generation am I
My predecessors have left but a mess
A burnt nation I was handed
Divided, and raped
...
I put on this mask each morn,
To deceive not myself.
For I to myself am honest as Krishna,
At the battlefield.

Sitting In The Library
I stare at hope filled faces
Gorging at words to fill their skull
Line after line, and page after page
Hoping silently to succeed
So many dreams
Moments of realization
The purpose they are here for
Promising themselves to work hard or harder
Every time they stare at themselves
Dreaming, Struggling, failing and yet dreaming
Dreaming, struggling, winning, and dreaming some more
Learning as they grow
Growing as they learn
Hoping one day they will live their dream
And i can hear there beats wisher to each other
Urging to prove there worth
And I stare at hope filled faces.
