In My Thoughts

The wind beats against my forehead..

I am lost

I feel as if I took ten steps forward

Then twenty back

The sun pounds against my sunkissed skin

Beating against me as my heart did for you

When I had no one you came and lifted me up

You made me believe in myself again

You made me see more to this life than I thought

I sit here and realize how much I miss you

The cuddling the kissing the laughing

How I felt so safe in your arms

Now I here I am alone

Waiting for you to miss me too

Hoping you might just miss me as much as I miss you
