Kean Ghiero Poems

1.

You cannot tell
it
to anybody
...

In bed at night,
while you sleep
peacefully,
I think of us,
...

The world
stands still
while,
my words spin,
...

How impossible
are those river-eyes
that love portraits?
...

After decades of life,
I feel I have found
what to do in these walls,
sitting back undignified
...

6.

Dragging on

the morning lights
are
...

Speeding as a train
leaving the tunnel-loved
womb of heart,
...

They made a beautiful
straight solid beam
of his trunk that grew
white flowers in spring.
...

A chicken fence in the dusty ground
is still standing there as a bound
beyond the hill, under the sun
where all my life befell undone
...

Open up
let me come
in your
spectrum
...

She is coming,
chasing me
as the night
chases the day
...

The Best Poem Of Kean Ghiero

It

You cannot tell
it
to anybody

it
is your secret.

You may find
it
hard to accept.

It
holds you.

You may try
to fight
it.

Secretly,

It
waits for you
to be alone,
then

it starts
pounding.

It
carries on
relentlessly.

It
drives you mad.

It
beats you
up-down
left-right
until
it
kills you

and
nobody
knows
it.
