Keith Bizzell Poems

I await your return and your words,
Teach me what you've learned.
People don't believe but I know that you are true,
People don't want to believe what they can't prove.
...

Heavenly bells ring in my ears,
Do you see my tears?
Though these are not tears of sadness, rather tears of joy.
One single timeframe,
...

At least I knew how to live in there,
Do they let people back in?
I don't want to be one of those,
Bitten on the way out.

Rinpoche

I await your return and your words,
Teach me what you've learned.
People don't believe but I know that you are true,
People don't want to believe what they can't prove.
I sit in my own meditation, though not as strong as yours,
I know that you are still part of nature, of this I'm sure.
You are still so young, just over half my years,
Yet where you are time doesn't matter, just conquering fears.

You have such awesome power just to stay alive,
Just sit there still, unmoving, yet faster than our eyes.
As I sit here often thinking, who, what, when, where and why,
No answers just confusion, and I know that you are wise.
Maybe there are no answers when I ask such questions of my mind,
Maybe wisdom is more than we will ever realize.
Maybe we're to busy buried in our lives,
Maybe it's unending if we look only with our eyes.

I await your return and your words,
Teach me what you've learned.
I await your return and your words,
Teach me what you've learned.
